I was visiting, Petloss.com was that very room.
This man was hurting from the great loss of a furbaby,
}{}{}{DAVID}{}{}{
We talked with others, we tried to help this hurting one.
As the days passed, in time, we became friends.
The hurt grew less for both of us as
he walked the dusty path of the Lonewolf with me.
My love for him has grown.
He has so much love in his heart to give,
We are most happy to call this one son
for he means the world to us
WizardWolf as you know has been battling Cancer, the big (C)
As easy as it would have been to give up
He did not. He tried as hard as he could to keep
us updated on his treatments and his condition
When he felt up to it he continued to go to
Petloss.com in an attempt to help others
Let it be known he has kept his promise
to go when he could and time permitted
Please let it be known, I love this pack of wolves
with all the heart that is in me.
Forever and one day more will I love you all.
May the gentle wind called peace be ever in the
hearts of those that care for others pain.
For this fifth "Wolf of
the Month" for the New Year,
"This
Pack of Wolves" does hereby declare that
we
shall honor WizardWolf, "David", for the
many things he "does" for
this pack of wolves.
For his dedication, Caring, and
Love, for helping
others with hurting hearts, suggestions, and coming to the chatroom
and being a kind and caring soul.
for his devotion to loss of pets.
For all you do, we thank you, Son to Us,
and Brother and friend to others.
We love you Wiz, ever and one day more
THE WOLF AND THE ROSE
Nothing escaped his sight,
Dare he proceed without caution,
Such tenderness within her,
He paced around the rose
His sense of protection was gathered all around.
Beauty in the forest wild
But the wolf stayed beside her
When the storms of winter passed and
Among the wilderness of imagination
I love you
with all my heart!
Author unknown
as he walked tenderly through the snow
in a glade
he came upon it there,
a single rose of beauty
that had risen from beneath the snow.
As he trudged
through the snow, lonesome and weary
having no special place to go,
the rose was quitely waiting from the depths of the ground below.
and let the beauty
of the rose become the ruler within
but the rose was such a challenge,
he dare not pass it by,
for only her beauty was in the view from his eyes.
For the rose upon the snow,
was beauty that lay upon the ground.
soft petals all around,
the wolf was amazed
that in the snowy blanket
such a rose could be found.
waiting for his prey
to make a sound or movement
on that cold winter day,
then the wolf lay down beside her
upon the snowy ground.
His warmth surrounded her,
but the rose lay quietly within the blanket of snow
for bound by the roots beneath her
she had no place to go.
reaching for the sun
she feared that her beauty
was soon to be outdone
for even with the warmth and protection
of the wolf
who laid beside her in the snow
the rose would not be able
to live beneath the snow.
through all the storms and wind
for the rose
had stirred something in his heart
and he felt warmth from deep within.
warmth was in the ground,
the rose continued to grow
because of the warmth
from the wolf she had found.
His beauty lay within him and
his protection and in part
let the rose beneath the snow
gather winter warmth
from his heart.
this story has no end
because it is about love
that can only grow from deep within.
Be it a wolf and a rose in the snow
or two people that love each other
and need to say....
GREAT SPIRIT
O Great Spirit,
whose voice I hear in the winds
and whose breath gives life to all the world,
Hear me! I am small and weak.
I need your strength and wisdom.
Let me walk in beauty
and make my eyes ever behold the sunset.
Make my hands respect the things you have made
and my ears sharp to hear your voice
Make me wise so that I may understand
the things you have taught my people.
Let me learn the lessons
you have hidden in every leaf and rock.
I seek strength, not to be greater than my brother,
but to fight my greatest enemy - myself.
Make me always ready to come to you
with clean hands and straight eyes.
So when life fades, as the fading sunset,
my spirit may come to you without shame.
